One Big Step Closer

Our home study paperwork is done and sent in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Yes, that required several exclamation points.) Although we are still waiting on 3 of our reference letters...you know who you are! I hope to have the home study done soon and I hope that the Dossier isn't too tough to get together. I'm just really happy to have the paperwork all sent in and I thought I should post about it!

Yeah!! That is such GREAT news!! It seems like you guys are moving along pretty quickly with things - hopefully that'll continue until you have your new baby!

Autumn - I'm pulling for you and enjoying reading about the process. If only the adoption agency would read your blog and see what joy you get out of Rhett, they'd have their decision in moments and ask if you could possibly take 10 kids!

Hi guys -
I never post comments, but this deserves one for sure. Congrats on getting your paperwork in. I am so excited for you guys. This little girl is going to be one lucky kiddo to have such great parents as you (and the coolest little brother in PDX, of course.) Yahoo! By the way - your house is looking awesome too!!

Autumn,
I am just so excited for you. I will be praying that this process goes smoothly for you all. There is just no quenching the ache for a baby...until you get that baby!

Autumn that is great! What agency are you adopting through? Jess and I were half way through and we had a surprise baby. We were going through All God's Children and their Guatemala program. I hope things keep moving right along for you!
