Puff

Blowing on a puff is a child's tradition in the Spring...our neighbor doesn't like this tradition too much. Whenever Rhett blows on a puff he says, "Carin doesn't like it when I do this. It makes more weeds." This puff found it's way to a vase with water in the house...it was a special puff.

I remember as a child, blowing puffs meant it was my birthday (May 21). Only as an adult did I learn dandylions are actually weeds. I don't care...I still love them. My husband, of course, does not, and has banned them from our yard. sigh. Good to see that Rhett loves them!!

I thought we pulled all those "puff plants", weeds and or special plants last spring. We will be there soon and pull them from Carin's yard this year. . . Take care. . . Love me.

You HAVE to blow puffs. It's just a rule.

There is no getting rid of dandelions. Not that I want to, I'm just saying that those things are suvivors.

You know, my 4 y.o. son always leaps into my lap when he sees your blog on my screen. It's perfect for him because he sees Rhett and he relates because this is obviously a boy very similar to him. And he sees Mezmur and he goes nuts over the photos of her. He's always saying, "Find the surprise face on Mezmur, Mama." We scrolled through a lot of your blog today and he so enjoys it. Just so you know.

Thank you.

Christine
