Damn You Global Warming

What do you do when it is over 100 degrees and you don't have air conditioning...slip and slide. Our s & s is a permanent fixture on our front lawn for the week. 107 degrees today? Seriously? On the list for today...stay cool anyway possible. I'm sure the slip and slide will get some use today too.

Rhett's challenge...make it all the way to the end. He is getting good!

I feel for you guys. 100+ degrees is never pleasant, but at least here in the Midwest we're prepared for it. Looks like the Slip and Slide did the trick, though. Another failsafe trick for unbearable heat - movie theatres! It's a great way to kill two hours and stay cool at the same time. Good luck.

Looks like family and friends fun in the sun. Too bad you didn't plan a Florida trip right now. . . The weather is cooler now here then there. Grammy and Gramps don't have a slip and slide though. Seeing the kids have so much fun it looks like a good idea for us to have one available on your next visit. Looks like the kids were having a blast, even the big kids. How about you? No pictures of you sliding. I bet you could make it to the end!!! Good shot of your brothers back tatoo, maybe if he slips and slides enough it will wear off. . . Really good to see a picture of him. Miss you all very much. . . Love ME

My parents are in Vancouver, WA and they are dying without the a/c, too! Maybe I will suggest a slip 'n slide for them...looks like great fun! :)

I love that it's not just the kids enjoying the slip n slide! Good times can be had by all on one of those things! :) Stay cool.

(That last line reminded me of something I wrote in people's yearbooks in 7th grade. :)

Omg I am not the only one without A/C in Portland? Well I don't feel so alone now! Usually I am not one to complain about weather, but this is un-fricking-real. I actually wake up at 4am each morning excited to come to the office for the free A/C. That's when you know the Heatpocalypse is taking over:)
