A VooDoo Doughnut First

Rhett was in doughnut heaven when we finally made our first trip to VooDoo Doughnuts last Friday. VooDoo is a Portland landmark famous for their bacon and maple doughnut, Nyquil glazed and Pepto-Bismol doughnut, and the Cap'n Crunch.
He really wanted the "letter T." doughnut, but he settled on the Double Bubble. Maybe you can figure out what the "letter T." doughnut was and why we didn't let him get it...
We got Rhett all hyped up on sugar and pin-ball then...
...we dropped him off at preschool.

We had our first VooDoo donuts experience last week too! Crazy fun. Good call on putting the kabosh on the 'T'. :)

WOW!! That place looks amazing. Makes me want to get on a plane and get up there just to check it out. And I am of necessary age to get me one of those T donuts. :-)

Funny... we took Elliot to VooDoo last week too. He had one of their many vegan options. I had the one with a satanic symbol on it, but it had chocolate and it was oh so good. Don't think I am the devil just yet. And Xander... he had the one with bacon. Is this the longest comment ever.

I hate to admit when I don't get something even more than when I don't get something. . . I'll bite what's the letter "T" donut? I like this post because I think I was talking to you on the phone during parts of this sequence. I could hear Rhett in the back seat as you where pulling up to pre-school. Funny. . . I think I figured out the letter "T"! Next time we talk on the phone I'll get the answer. Love Dad

Holy Crap that's good stuff! The posting....not the doughnuts as I've never been to Portland.
What the heck is the Nyquil glazed and Pepto-Bismol doughnut? And how awful would it taste and why in the world would someone order it enough to actually have a perm spot on the menu?

The grape flavored ones taste just like grape bubblegum, kind of weird, but actually pretty good! Love the letter "T" donut, what a great story!
