A year ago our world was very different. I was wearing this shirt. Expecting a call about our daughter any minute. Receiving a devastating mistake call from our agency. Wow, that was tough.
Rhett was an only child and 4" shorter. Doesn't he look young?
Today, things are so different. It is almost hard to imagine our life a year ago. Before we knew about our daughter who was a world away. In a little over a week we celebrate the year anniversary of the first time we saw her face.

Rhett looks so little! And adorable!

I can't believe it's almost a year since you first saw Mez's picture. A part of me feels like it hasn't been that long, and the other part feels like she's always been in your family.

That is actually really encouraging to me right now. I remember your point-of-view back then, feeling like the waiting was endless. It gives me a lot of hope for my own waiting.

I remember that day very well. But then came the REAL call!! And what an AWESOME day that was! So glad that we shared both the hard and the good times of this process. XXOO

I was there the day of the mixed up call. I remmeber saying before the call I hope I'm here when you get your call. Then THAT call came in and I thought I was getting my wish until I heard the convesation changing. It is all a part of the history of getting Mezmur in your arms and bring back all the joy back home for us all. I agree with Sarah . . . It's like she has always been a part of the family. Can't wait to see you all. . . SOON! ! ! Love Me

Wow - I can't believe it has almost been one year. I, too, agree with Sarah - seems like Mezzy has been a part of your family forever (though I do remember talking to you after the dreaded call.)
