Mezmur's Christmas Hat

Yes, for Christmas the family got hats knit by me. I searched for the right pattern to replace Mezmur's old hat that I loved so much. I settled on the Stella Pixie Hat. I knit the hat with my favorite yarn and made one change to the pattern. Instead of knitting the neckband separate and adding a button...I picked up stitches around the neck of the hat, knit a band, and knit an i-cord on the ends for tying. I LOVE it.

Oh, I love this hat.

it is SO cute. I've printed that pattern before, but never got around to making it! I wish is was 1/2, or heck 1/4 the knitter you are!

What a great job you did! That little face underneath it all isn't too bad either. OX

That girl makes that hat all that much cuter. She's adorable!

You lost me on the technical aspect of your knitting. . . as if I want to understand.

The hat is cute, the model is adorable. . . Mezmur's expressions in the snow say "Winter Wonderland" to us all. She melts my heart. . . Miss you all. . . . Love Dad

I love that hat. And Mezmur is what makes it.

While I'm on the topic of imagining things, is there any way you could think hard about your ridiculous quantities of domesticity, and at the same time breathe into an envelope and send it to me? I'm thinking I could catch some of the talent germs.

That hat is drop dead gorgeous.

Thanks!!! I can't wait to try it for my daughter. I have the perfect button (isn't that strange- how one little thing can inspire a whole project?)
