It's A Sickness

With all we have to do and think about to get ready for our trip, I still feel the need to make all of Rhett's Valentine's. They turned out cute. Honestly, it seems less work to me to just make them, rather than go to the store and buy them. For Rhett, in order for him to do anything like this we must get out of the house and have no distractions. A little bribery helps too...vanilla steamer or gelato work great. Next we need to work on thank you cards from his birthday. I'll give him a couple of days to recoup after the Valentine's. It was like pulling teeth! They were made with fabric and Rhett colored on them with sharpies.

We feel so blessed to be here in our adoption process. We are leaving in 2 1/2 weeks! Seriously, I can't believe it. Mezmur is finally coming home. Now, if only we could get that long awaited updated photo so I can stop checking my email a million times a day.

I'm SO glad that you get to travel quickly! 2 1/2 weeks is so close, yet so far!

I love your valentines...so cute! It is a sickness, and I'm right there with you. I'm never sure if I need therapy for my craft obsession, or if it IS MY THERAPY for surviving mommyhood. Crafts must be cheaper than a therapist, don't you think? :)

ps, LOVE your kitchen table!

I love the study in concentration. What a great kid that Rhett is. . .
Mezmur's photo will come in time to carry you through your safe travels to join with your new daughter. This will all go as smoothly as your court date went and your return home together. This all sounds like "music" to my ears. We will be with you in spirit every step of the way. . . please take us with you. We love you. Talk to you soon. Love Dad

Weee! Weee! Weee!

Also, catch the latest entry on my blog for the word that you were the runner up in the "Guess Stuff About the Baby" contest. A very very close runner up, which means you essentially won too. :)
