Rhett made a fort and declared that there are no babies allowed. Poor Mezmur. He wanted help making a sign.
Mezmur was allowed in and Rhett was sweet even when she tore down the fort and we had to fix it. This boy blows me away with his tenderness to his sister. He loves her so much and she loves him. Just look at how he looks at her...
Oh, by the way. We have a walker.
Rhett repeats all day, "Walk to brother...walk to brother...walk to brother." It is very sweet.

So exciting that she's walking! I actually had a dream last night that Mez walked to me. She was wearing a white dress.
What beautiful kids- that is so sweet! I have a son and a daughter (10 and 7) and they have always been the best of friends and that love between a big brother and his little sister is just the best most wonderful thing.
Wow, walking!!!!! And yes, I too love it when siblings get along ... I wonder that every day how Jalen and our little girl will get along, or if they'll get along. So happy for you guys though!!! Rhett's a great big brother!
The "fort sign" is too much and that Rhett let Mezmur in is wonderful. It does my heart good to hear how great the relationship is between them and yes you can tell by the looks how much love is there. Now that Mezmur is walking they will have so much fun together. What a great sign. Now we know that, for all the babies who happen by the fort, they'll simply be able to read the sign and keep moving.
And yes, it is darling that Rhett changed his mind for Mezmur.
And yippee for walking! That photo of M walking to brother really captures both of their emotions about it.
Oh my gosh, to see our "baby" walking! Mezmur is growing so fast. What a joy to see all that love when they're together. What "best friend" buddies they are going to be. What a gift!
Walking! What a blast Mez and Bina will have next time they get together. I can't wait to see it. Dot would like to borrow Rhett's sign.
