This trench pattern is from the
Chic and Simple sewing book. There are many patterns in this book that are...well...chic and simple.

I love the large pockets on this trench.

I changed the pattern a bit by lining the trench, which makes it
reversible.

Go read about my other trench inspirations at the
Bolt blog.

I love this!!! You are an inspiration to my new found sewing skills.
Chic. . . So is Mezmur in her sweater in the new header photo. Another great "Pumkin" photo. . .
amazing coat....WOW
Hi Autumn- I was at the bolt sale and talking to a fellow customer about how my husband and I just applied to adopt a baby from Ethiopia and your name came up! I would love to talk to you about your experience, have any guidance and have some ideas about how to get hooked in to the Ethiopian adoptee community. I love your blog and REALLY wanted to take that trench coat class! My email is lisaweisman@mac.com
Hope to hear from you soon!
Wowza lady---I love this, especially the liner fabric. You are so talented!
My oh my oh, I always read the bolt blog too, and I'm still wondering if I could do the napkins. Very awesome.
I so wish I could take a class, however I would be the annoying student in the back still trying to thread the machine.
