i love this idea...but still a little confused over the rod...are there more pics you can post of the rod? not sure what the end of it looks like...what size magnet you use and what size washers?
CarleeKajsa, Well, I did this very roughly. I first got stiff wire at the hardware store for the rod and worm. I wrapped them with batting and secured it with glue (hot glue). Next, made a tube out of fabric for both the rod and worm by sewing along the length and one end. Slide in the wire wrapped with batting and glue the last end closed. I glued the fishing line into the rod and this time and simply tied the other end to the worm. Oh, I also slipped a heavy duty magnet into the worm to attract the fish. I hope this helps. :)
