My New Dress

I had a vision for the dress I wanted, so I went to one of my favorite Japanese sewing books. I found this dress that I was going to use for the pattern.
It was a success. I'm so excited about it. I added elastic around the waist...giving it more shape.
I finished this dress up by serging the hem at Modern Domestic. One day I will own my very own serger...one day.
There are many more of these dresses in my future. I plan on changing the neck line and maybe add some pockets. I love sewing for myself...I just wish there were more hours in the day to sew everything I want to sew.

Dangit, Autumn. How do you do all of this? This isn't a rhetorical question. Really. HOW?!

Do you take some sort of super multi-vitamin or something that gives you extra creativity, energy and skill?
