Having Mezmur home is nothing short of a miracle. For her to come home...everything had to be just right. Our "family plan" had to fail when it did...in order for us to adopt our second baby and not our third, like our original plan.
The most important part of adoption is choosing an ethical agency. We had faith in our agency. An ethical adoption is the most important part of adoption. It's a shame that agencies/orphanages who are acting unethically can harm the chance of the children who are ethically being adopted.
Something has happened that I feared while we were waiting to bring home our baby girl. Mowa (Ministry of women affair) has cut down adoptions by 90%. Thankfully adoptions haven't stopped completely, but what about the 90% of children who will have to wait for months/years? What about allllll those families waiting for a referral or court date? I'm talking about several very close friends in this position. It is heartbreaking. Having Mezmur home is a miracle.

A miracle indeed in everyway. . .
It's the same situation that happened to us in the China adoption process. I'm so sad that even more beautiful babies will be made to wait for who knows how long for their forever families. So thankful for the miracle of the babies that we do have!
