Thankful

Thankful.

I'm still sewing. Not as much as I would like to be. There are days that I find myself feeling down at the end of the day. I quickly realize that it is because I haven't done a single creative thing. Wiping poopy butts (That's right...plural butts. Mezmur is still in diapers, much to my anguish.) all day isn't too inspiring.

I've posted this gnome on ETSY.
I'm doing a few orders around here and hopefully some Christmas sewing this week. I have Christmas pjs to sew and a gift or two for the little girls in my life to finish. If all goes as planned there will be a mermaid and a tiny Waldorf doll under the tree. As I've been learning...with three kids...not all goes as planned.

Reminder: BUY HEADPHONES TO WEAR WHILE WRITING BLOG POSTS WHEN THE CHILDREN ARE ALL AWAKE AND RUNNING CIRCLES AROUND ME.

Our Un-Vacation To Florida

Why un-vacation, you ask? Well, taking three kids on a vacation...isn't really a vacation. At least we had our un-vacation in sunny warm Florida. There was lots of beautiful weather, sandy beaches, naked babies at the pool (I wish I could show you those photos!), good food, and great times with my dad and his wife. What is it about going on vacation that makes you tired and hungry all the time? I call it "vacation mode." Here is a photo diary of what we did on our un-vacation in Florida...

7 Months

Mavis turned 7 months and I still like putting her in cute hats.

She cut her very first tooth a few days ago, so, that means...still no sleep for me. I'm ok. I really like coffee, so that's one really good thing. In case you miss seeing my other two kids or haven't seen the November cover of NW Kids magazine...check them out!
